About the role

As our Work Health & Safety Business Partner, you'll play a key role in building a culture where people feel safe, supported and empowered to do their best work.

You will work collaboratively across the organisation to strengthen our approach to workplace health, safety and wellbeing, providing trusted advice, guidance and practical support to our leaders and teams. This is a role where you can make a genuine difference not just through compliance, but by fostering care, connection and proactive wellbeing.

You're a skilled communicator who builds strong relationships and works collaboratively to solve problems. Experience partnering with leaders in community, health or human services is a plus and you're genuinely committed to creating safe, supportive and positive workplaces for everyone.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Lead HSW initiatives that support a safe, inclusive and caring workplace culture
  • Provide expert advice on WHS and wellbeing legislation, risk management and best practice
  • Partner with People Leaders to build confidence and capability in managing safety and wellbeing
  • Support early intervention, injury prevention and return-to-work processes
  • Develop and maintain practical WHS policies, procedures and frameworks
  • Work collaboratively with WHS, P&C and Quality teams to deliver projects and build organisation-wide awareness

     You will also need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Work Health & Safety or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
  • Sound understanding of WHS legislation, risk management and injury management principles
  • Current valid Driver's License and the ability to undertake travel for the role
  • Current Working with Children Check and NDIS Workers Screening Check
  • Right to Work within Australia
  • National Police Records Check
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate – free online course
