You will provide technical leadership to a growing Civil Structures team while acting as a vital link between our Brisbane and Gold Coast offices. This role also offers the opportunity to shape future work through bid leadership and strong industry engagement.
The Opportunity
- Lead structural delivery for major Transport projects and support Civil Structures work across Water and Energy sectors.
- Mentor, guide and technically review the work of the local team, including sign-off of complex structures.
- Champion collaboration between Brisbane and Gold Coast teams, promoting seamless work sharing.
- Undertake construction supervision and site inspections as required.
- Drive business development by identifying opportunities and managing or supporting competitive bids.

Is this role right for you?
- 12+ years' experience in civil and structural engineering, including major infrastructure projects.
- Bachelor of Engineering (Washington Accord recognised) plus CPEng and/or RPEQ (or eligibility).
- Strong proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., GSA, Strand, SpaceGass, Midas, SAM).
- Demonstrated experience designing to Australian standards, particularly QLD TMR criteria, and delivering highway and rail projects.
- Excellent communication, leadership, delegation and team-building skills, with a commitment to high-quality outcomes.
