The opportunity

We're seeking Amenities and Maintenance Cleaners to help maintain our pristine Port Stephens environment across the east of our Local Government Area (LGA).

Your role is an important one, providing a cleaning service to clients within the Port Stephens LGA for public areas, maintenance of grounds and building such as amenities (both internal and external), vehicles, chemical decanting, and cleaning of barbeques and open spaces.

Within this position, you will have exposure to our community members which will need you to be customer focused.

This is the perfect role for candidates looking to embrace an early start and early finish to suit your lifestyle needs, with shift hours starting at 4:30am and finishing at 1:30pm working a 9-Day Fortnight.

• This is a permanent opportunity – working full-time 38 hours / week + access to a 9-Day Fortnight
• Base Salary Range: $58,552 to $61,458 pa based on 38 hours / week + 11.5% superannuation + $2,545 adverse work conditions allowance + $2,312 retention allowance
• You will be working from Nelson Bay Depot

• Work across a range of sites in the Port Stephens LGA as required
• Ensure all duties are undertaken and performed in accordance with our policies and procedures
• Liaise with team members, general public, and staff in a manner that encourages team work and enhances the presentation of the Port Stephens environment

• Working knowledge and prior experience in commercial cleaning, grounds and maintenance or similar
• Current Drivers Licence
