About the role

EMCON is seeking an experienced Class 2 residential Site Manager to oversee the successful delivery of our luxury four story mutli-residential project on Maroubra Beach, NSW.

The project is currently half way through the structure.

What you'll be doing

  1. Coordinating and supervising all on-site construction activities, including managing subcontractors and ensuring adherence to project plans, schedules and safety protocols
  2. Monitoring project progress, identifying and mitigating risks.
  3. Overseeing the allocation of resources, including labor, equipment and materials.
  4. Ensuring compliance with building codes, regulations and Australian standards
  5. Fostering a positive, collaborative working environment and promoting a strong safety culture on-site
  6. Providing hands-on leadership and mentoring to the construction team.

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 5 years' experience as a Site Manager or Foreperson in the construction industry
  2. Proven track record of successfully delivering high end multi-residential projects.
  3. Ideally worked for a Tier 2 or Tier 1 builder.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with subcontractors and the project team.
  5. In-depth knowledge of construction practices, regulations and safety requirements.
  6. Confident at using Blubeam or similar programme and ideally has experience with PROCORE.
  7. Trade qualification or tertiary qualification in Building & Construction.
