About the Company
This Australian owned business is growing rapidly with a huge pipeline of work Due to this rapid growth they want to expand their team and bring on an experienced Sales Consultant to join the HVAC team as their leading HVAC Sales Consultant in Brisbane A background in trades would be highly desireable but not essential for this role Huge earning potential
About the Role
Working in the domestic / residential AC & Refrigeration sector, you will be reporting in the General Manager and working alongside other supervisors of a multi-trade company. You will be working with a team of technicians who understand that open communication, running on time and their reliability sets them apart from their competition. The core purpose of this role is to support the HVAC team in driving quoting and selling air-conditioning units and ducted systems.
Key Responsibilities
Your role will include but not be limited to:
- Attend to customer air-conditioning requests for quotes
- Follow up on leads and provide initial face to face contact with customers
- Calculate heat loads, assess, and plan quotes
- Preparation of quotations & Follow up on unsold sales
- Prepare, plan and coordinate new installation bookings in conjunction with installation despatch clerks
- Ensure correct process is being followed when booking accepted works - compliant
Skills & experience
- Previous sales experience working as a consultant, account manager or BDM.
- A background as a licenced electrician, plumber or HVAC person would be highly desirable.
- Australian Driver's License
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to work autonomously
- Able to take direction well and learn quickly on the job
