As we continue to grow, we're looking for a hands-on Retail Operations Manger - Floristry to lead, train, and inspire our team.This is a leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, balancing creativity with operations. You'll be at the centre of our floristry floor—ensuring smooth workflows, coaching the team, and keeping quality and efficiency high, especially during peak periods (Valentine's, Mother's Day, Christmas).Your week will include:Leading and mentoring a small team of florists (delegating, coaching, motivating)Overseeing daily order production and ensuring KPI/quality standards are metTraining and upskilling new and existing team members (in partnership with our Floristry Trainer)Roster planning and workflow managementJumping in hands-on to create consistent, beautiful arrangementsSupporting inventory flow and big event day planningDriving a positive, fun, and high-performing team cultureAbout you:We're looking for someone who is both creative and organised - comfortable with beautiful stock and people, but also with processes and planningYou'll bring:Floristry expertise (Cert III or 3+ years in fast-paced floristry) OR transferable leadership from retail/hospitality with a willingness to learn floristryProven leadership experience (training, supervising, or managing a team)Strong communication and delegation skillsAbility to juggle priorities and stay calm under pressureConfidence with tech (Google Workspace, iPads, rostering systems)A positive, can-do approach—ready to step in and make things happenInnovation and problem solving skills - you'll have a voice and impactBonus Points For:Experience in small to medium business environments (especially start-ups)Prior experience in training staff, especially in floristryBackground and love for positive, team-supportive leadership and management*** P.S.If you think you have a unique combination of skills but not exactly the above, still apply We want to hear from you and learn why you'd be a great fit for our team.Details:Hours : Full-time, Mon–Fri 7am–3pmLocation : Acacia Ridge (4110)Salary : Competitive, depending on experienceWhy Join Flowers Across Brisbane?Growing brand with creative, supportive teams in Brisbane, Sydney & MelbourneAutonomy to lead, improve processes, and shape the future of our siteInnovative, tech-forward culture (yes, we even have our own dev team)GIVR charity program: helping out local causes each monthNo uniforms, just a great vibe (and sometimes cake )How to Apply:Think you're the perfect fit?
