We have an excellent day shift opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join a leading FMCG company based in Silvan.

Role and Responsibilities

As a Maintenance Fitter, you'll play a key role in keeping production lines running smoothly and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing routine maintenance and inspections of machinery and production equipment.
  • Diagnosing, repairing, and troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to minimise downtime.
  • Conducting preventive maintenance and keeping accurate service records.
  • Responding promptly to breakdowns to restore production.
  • Supporting machinery installations, upgrades, and commissioning.
  • Ensuring all work complies with safety standards and company policies.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the plant.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Trade qualification as a Maintenance Fitter
  • Proven experience in an FMCG or food manufacturing environment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
  • Good understanding of preventive maintenance systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and drawings.
  • Safety-focused with excellent teamwork and communication skills.
