**About the role**:
RPR Trades is on the look out for a Maintenance Fitter for a reputable client based in Dandenong Monday to Friday shifts 80,000 - 120,000 per year

**Duties include but not limited to**:

- Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostic tests on hydraulic attachments to identify malfunctions, leaks, or performance issues
- Perform precise and efficient repairs on hydraulic systems and attachments, including seals, hoses, pumps, cylinders, valves, and other components, ensuring optimal functionality
- Execute routine maintenance tasks such as fluid changes, filter replacements, and hydraulic component checks based on manufacturer guidelines and maintenance schedules
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, parts inventory, and service reports to track equipment history and facilitate future maintenance needs
- Strict adherence to safety protocols and guidelines during all repair and servicing activities to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others
- Day to day operations of the plant
- Conduct general maintenance and repairs inline with our preventative maintenance program
- Installation and fabrication of machinery and equipment

**Qualifications**:

- Certificate III In Engineering
- Proficiency in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining hydraulic systems and components in heavy machinery attachments
- Ability to analyze issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions efficiently
- Previous experience in hydraulic system repair, maintenance, and familiarity with hydraulic attachments is highly advantageous
- Meticulous attention to detail when performing maintenance tasks to ensure accuracy and reliability
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment, coordinating with other technicians
- Commitment to adhering strictly to safety regulations and protocols throughout repair and servicing activities
- Strong verbal and written communication for documentation and reporting purposes
