Competitive salary and benefits:
We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements ( ).
- Salary range: $47.33 to $65.09 p.h. (HWF3)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
- Plus Salary Sacrificing ( ) options may be available
About your opportunity
The Indigenous Hospital Liaison Officer will provide support and advocacy for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients and their families.
Requirements:
Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration
- Under s25 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991, there is a genuine occupational requirement for the incumbent to be Indigenous to the Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Community.
- Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration or membership (if applicable) with the appropriate registration authority or association.
- Blue Card Checks: Potential applicants are advised that the Commission for Children and Young People and Child Guardian Act 2000 requires Queensland Health to seek a 'working with children check' from the Commission for Children and Young People and Child Guardian prior to appointment to this position.
- Drivers Licence: This position requires the incumbent to operate a class "C" motor vehicle and an appropriate licence endorsement to operate this type of vehicle is required.
