About the Opportunity

Are you passionate about bridging the gap between business needs and secure technology solutions? Want to be the driving force behind a major Identity and Access Management (IDAM) transformation? Metcash is looking for a sharp, solutions-focused Senior Business Analyst (IDAM) to join our Cyber Security team and help redefine how identity is managed across our enterprise.

This isn't just another BA gig. You'll be front and centre in shaping the future-state IDAM landscape as part of our broader cyber security remediation program. From mapping current processes and pain points to defining detailed access requirements, your insights will power a secure, streamlined, and scalable identity solution across the Metcash Group.

It's a 12 months fixed-term role. 

In this Role

• Lead requirements gathering sessions with technical and business stakeholders across the enterprise
• Unpack, refine, and validate findings through workshops and detailed analysis
• Map current-state vs. future-state IDAM processes, capabilities, and user needs
• Collaborate on the solution design and ensure tight alignment with compliance and security objectives
• Own the creation of use cases, test plans, and support documentation to guide implementation
• Partner with the Org Change Manager to ensure the smooth rollout of the new IDAM system
• Track deliverables in Azure DevOps, ensuring requirements stay visible, actionable, and aligned

You're Likely a Match If

• A seasoned BA (8–10+ years) with deep expertise in IDAM, IAM, or cyber security project delivery
• Strong experience translating business needs into clear, actionable technical requirements
• Sharp communicator with a knack for bridging IT and business worlds
• Adept in stakeholder engagement, workshop facilitation, and process design
• Highly organised, outcomes-driven, and meticulous with detail
• Familiar with identity technologies like Azure AD, Entra ID, Microsoft Sentinel
• Bonus points for certifications like CBAP, CISSP, or CISM and experience with AD/Entra ID consolidation
