Overview

An opportunity to join a global leader in mission critical communications, supporting and maintaining radio and communications infrastructure across Queensland coal mine sites. You will be working onsite, supporting critical voice and data communications used for operational safety and day to day mine activities. This is a long term role with consistent site work, strong safety culture, and exposure to enterprise grade communications technology.

Key Responsibilities


• Provide onsite support, maintenance, and troubleshooting of radio and communications systems across Queensland coal mine sites

• Perform routine inspections, fault finding, and preventative maintenance of communications infrastructure

• Support and maintain mission critical radio technologies including P25, DMR, and TETRA environments

• Respond to incidents and outages in line with operational and safety requirements

• Liaise with site stakeholders to ensure communications systems remain operational and compliant

• Complete required documentation, safety reports, and maintenance records

• Adhere strictly to mine site safety procedures and compliance standards

Required Experience


• Previous experience working onsite in coal mines or heavy industrial environments

• Hands-on experience supporting radio or communications systems

• Exposure to P25, DMR, or TETRA technologies is highly regarded. Experience in any one is sufficient

• Strong fault finding and troubleshooting skills in live operational environments

• Comfortable working independently onsite while following structured processes

• Current Queensland Coal Board certification is mandatory
