About the role

We are seeking a talented Junior Software Engineer to join our growing team at GoBright Technology Pty Ltd. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for developing innovative software solutions that drive the success of our business. A small, hybrid team spread across Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast, you'll have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects and contribute to the company's early stage growth and expansion.

What you'll be doing

  1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and design effective software solutions
  2. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code to implement new features and functionality
  3. Participate in code reviews and testing to ensure high-quality deliverables
  4. Continuously learn and stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends
  5. Contribute to the development of software architecture and best practices
  6. Provide support and troubleshoot issues to ensure the reliability of our systems
  7. Exploring and integrating AI platforms and solutions to supercharge your productivity, and that of our customers

What we're looking for

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  2. Strong programming skills in modern software languages (Node / React etc)
  3. Familiarity with software development methodologies and tools
  4. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  5. Effective communication and teamwork abilities
  6. Passion for staying up-to-date with new technologies and trends
  7. Eagerness to learn and grow within a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  8. At least 12 months experience working as part of a professional software delivery team
