Sentence Planning Officer,

The Sentence Planning Officer will contribute to the day-to-day operations of Sentence Management Services performing sentence management functions either in a correctional centre or within a HUB environment at designated locations.
This role will provide administrative and planning support, working as part of a team that delivers sentence management services.
The most suitable applicant will demonstrate their applied knowledge, skills, and experience against these essential role requirements of the Individual Contributor leadership stream:
• Demonstrated ability to rapidly acquire new knowledge and skills as well as to deliver outcomes within a structured environment.
• Sound written and oral communication skills and an attention to detail in this regard.
• Problem solving skills and demonstrated ability to meet the challenges of a demanding work environment.
• Planning and organising skills to ensure tasks are completed within deadlines.
• Working knowledge of office equipment and experience using Microsoft Office and database applications.
• Sound interpersonal skills that support service delivery in an environment where engagement with a range of internal and external stakeholders is critical; and
• Demonstrated ability to operate in a team environment and to complete work autonomously as directed.
