Bluff Point Medical Centre (BPMC) is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Full-time 2IC/Senior Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team for an immediate start.

About Us

BPMC is a general practice with 6 consulting GPs. We also offer specialty areas including but not limited to; skin and travel clinics; immunisations; women's and men's health; and anaesthetic services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Practice Manager in overseeing daily operations and ensuring smooth team workflow
  • Lead by example in providing a warm and professional front of house experience.
  • Triaging patients and monitoring waiting room
  • Handling a range of billing including private, workers compensation and Medicare batching
  • Handling Patient correspondence with confidentiality and attention to detail
  • Provide a high standard of administrative support to our patients and our clinical team

As the successful candidate you will have:

  • Previous experience in a medical receptionist role
  • Ability to work under pressure in a calm and professional manner
  • Experience with Best Practice software is desirable but not essential as training will be provided to the right applicant
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Excellent time management
  • Professional presentation
  • Ability to be a team player
