We're looking for a
Mobile App Developer
to help shape the future of satellite-connected IoT devices. Based in
Adelaide
, you'll play a key role in developing cutting-edge embedded solutions that power our global platform.

How you will drive success:

• Mobile Application Development:
  Design, develop and maintain mobile apps across both iOS and Android platforms that interface with satellite-connected IoT systems. Preference for experience using cross-platform development frameworks (e.g. Flutter) to enable shared codebases and efficient delivery.
• User Experience:
  Deliver clean, intuitive user interfaces and user experiences tailored to both technical and non-technical users.
• IoT Integration:
  Integrate mobile apps with IoT platforms, cloud services and device APIs, enabling users to configure, monitor, and manage connected devices in real time.
• Connectivity & Data Handling
  : Work with data synchronisation, Bluetooth, and other device connectivity protocols. Manage data consistency across offline and online states.
• Security
  : Implement secure authentication, data protection mechanisms and best practices to ensure the safety of user data and IoT system integrity.
• Testing & Performance:
  Build in automated testing, performance monitoring, and usage analytics to ensure apps are robust, responsive and scalable.
• Documentation:
  Produce clean, well-documented code and contribute to supporting documentation such as API references, onboarding guides and FAQs.
• Collaboration:
  Work closely with firmware engineers, hardware teams, cloud developers, and product managers to ensure a seamless end-to-end user experience and coordinated delivery across the stack.

What we value in you:

• Bachelor's or postgraduate degree in software engineering, computer science, or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience developing mobile applications across both iOS and Android platforms
• Hands-on experience with cross-platform frameworks, enabling shared codebases across mobile environments
• Previous exposure and engagement in the full product lifecycle, from concept and development through to deployment and ongoing support
• A strong interest in working in a fast-paced startup environment, with a willingness to adapt, experiment, and take ownership
• Strong understanding of mobile-to-device communication, including Bluetooth and RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with mobile app security, authentication flows, and best practices for protecting user data
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross functional teams
