About Us:
Biggenden State School is a proud Level 3 school located in Central Queensland, within the Wide Bay Burnett Region. Situated in a rural community about 80 kilometres west of Maryborough, the school serves a town with a population of around 860 and a district population of about 1,700. It is a co-educational school offering educational opportunities for students from Prep to Year 10.
Established in 1892, the school has a long and rich history, with one of the original buildings still standing today. As one of the oldest operating schools in the district, Biggenden State School has seen generations of families pass through its doors. The school is part of the North Burnett cluster, collaborating on curriculum, sports, and cultural activities with other state schools in the area.

About the Role:
Responsibilities include, but not limited to;

- Build Strong Partnerships: Foster effective collaboration with parents, government agencies, community organisations, industry, and business to enhance educational opportunities.
- Lead Strategically and Responsibly: Apply a deep understanding of legislation, policy, and resource management to drive future-focused planning and achieve school goals.
