The Role

  • Managing a portfolio of clients and acting as a trusted advisor

  • Managing a team of accountants - delegating and reviewing work and managing workflow

  • Monitoring Job budgets

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of accountants to achieve their professional goals

  • Preparation and review of financial statements and tax returns for all types of entities

  • Advisory and tax planning work

  • Working closely with diverse clients and providing full compliance and value-added services.

  • Be a key member of the management team.

To apply:

  • Have 5 plus years of experience in public accounting within Australia, with a focus on business services

  • CA /CPA qualified

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Interstate applicants are encouraged to apply. Relocation assistance may be offered for the right candidate

  • Applicants near manager level are also encouraged to apply

  • Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulatory requirements

  • Experience working with cloud-based software (practice uses XERO XPM)

  • Enjoy training and mentoring staff.

  • Have work rights, Australian Citizenship, or Permanent Residency status in Australia.
