We are looking for people who are passionate about animals, and who will be dedicated to providing the best care for them. Due to the nature of the business, we are a very team-oriented workplace. We provide care for cats and dogs of all sizes, and therefore the role is often very physical. The role includes cleaning of the facility (both cat and dog areas), walking small to extra large dogs, hydro bathing small to extra large dogs, feeding, administering medication, washing up dishes, laundry, pick up/drop off services, gurneying etc. The role MAY include elements of customer service such as checking in/checking out pets, providing feedback on our fur guests stay, and taking bookings via email and phone. As the facility has pets in care 365 days a year, and is open 7 days a week, it is essential that staff are available for weekends, public holidays and peak school holiday periods. Shifts are 4.5 to 6 hrs within the hours of 6.45am to 5pm. We are looking for someone who is interested in a 3 to 4 shifts per week.

Please note this is for a Christmas casual position, due to higher demand over the Christmas/New year holiday period. Therefore availability over the Christmas and New year period required. Guaranteed shifts through to mid February 2026, with possibility of the position being extended.
