About the Role

We are seeking a Purchasing Officer to join our team in Naval Base in our new office. In this role you will be responsible for day-to-day purchasing activities, supplier engagement, and inventory control.

You will play a key part in strengthening our internal processes by ensuring goods and services are sourced cost-effectively, accurately recorded, and received on time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and track all internal purchase order requests, ensuring correct coding, approvals, and documentation.
  • Liaise with suppliers to obtain quotes, confirm pricing, place orders, and follow up on deliveries.

  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment of commonly used items.

  • Support regular stocktakes, reconciliations, and reporting.
  • Work closely with production and stores teams to align purchasing with operational needs.

  • Reconcile company credit card transactions with proper coding and receipts.

  • Support accounts payable by matching invoices to POs and resolving discrepancies.
  • Provide purchasing data and reports for management, month-end, or audits.

Skills & Experience

  • Experience in purchasing, procurement, or inventory coordination in a manufacturing environment including construction, precast or similar.
  • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
