Full or Part Time Senior Vet
Bondi Vet is looking for another vet to join our team.

So what's the deal?

  • Don't love surgery? We can make this a primarily consulting role if that suits. Or if you're a rockstar at dentistry or surgery we can work your roster around what you love to do. We don't expect you to love or be good at everything. So choose your own adventure when it comes to the things you'd like to do and we can make that happen.
  • Flexible roster. Choose between part or full time, five short days or 4 longer ones or whatever. We'll make it work for the right person.
  • Great pay. $115-$150k pa + all the usual benefits (super, study leave etc) - how much depends on what you bring to the table.
  • We'd love if you bring something special to the hospital. That could be amazing surgical ability or something as simple as be an expert with the endoscope or even just having great communication skills with a warm personality. Would suit someone with memberships or on the road to fellowships, but it isn't essential. Just a cut above the rest in something You might just be great with clients and that will do us. All our vets are a little bit extra and we love having each other to learn off.
  • We are open 8am to 7pm Monday through Friday. Our full time vets usually do 4 days per week plus rotating Saturday and Sunday usually every fourth weekend. Part time hours we fit around to suit family and other commitments and can make it just a couple of days a week if that suits you better. We don't do any after hours as we have a great emergency clinic nearby.
  • We are a high caseload clinic but we take our time so we can give each patient the time and care they need. Consults go from 30-45 minutes (we like to talk) and we like to be thorough.
  • We put pets first. We are lucky enough to have an 80% insured clientele in a higher socioeconomic area. People around Bondi LOVE their pets (and we know most of them). This means we get to practice great medicine. We really do believe that every pet matters and we go above and beyond for our little patients. More importantly we look after each other and have each other's back.

Who we are?

  • 5 vet practice in the heart of Bondi.
  • We are a young and innovative team that like to have fun however all out vets have 10+ years in practice.
  • We spend a lot of time in front of the camera We have a TV show. But that doesn't mean you have to be involved. BUT it does mean we aren't so regular and have a pretty big reputation to live up to.
  • High caseload of super interesting cases. We have a vet with dentistry memberships, another in internal medicine and we'd love to add to our amazingly talented vets.
  • We have visiting specialists each week including a cardiologist, specialist surgeons, internal medicine and imaging specialists. We work closely with our specialists.
  • We are an awesome team. We love what we do and we all get along great.
  • We are still growing and we all pitch in ideas about how to make the practice even better.
  • We practice really great medicine, have fun, get paid well, love the pets we treat and we look after each other and our patients.
