Express Electrical is seeking a qualified Electrician with solar experience to join our team in Toowoomba, Queensland.

Candidates must have a minimum of 6-12 months of solar experience.

This job includes a wide variety of work and experience, including maintenance and installation across all areas of Commercial, Industrial & Residential.

What you'll be doing

  • Installation of solar systems for residential and commercial clients
  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and service solar systems
  • Installation of general electrical
  • Preventative maintenance, repairs and inspections
  • Liaise with customers
  • Assist with training apprentices

What we're looking for

We're looking for someone who is enthusiastic, shows initiative, has an eye for detail and a passion for the electrical industry with:

  • SAA Accreditation
  • A current QLD Electrical Licence
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, wiring, and components
  • Extensive experience in the Electrical industry and a proven track record of independent work
  • 1-2 years of electrical industry experience required
  • Construction White Card
  • Commitment to safety protocols and regulations
  • Good communication skills
  • Air Conditioning licence desirable but not essential
  • Current QLD manual drivers' licence
  • Australian work rights are required for this position
