Synergie is seeking a Freight Handler for the logistics industry located in Cairns.

 

The important parts:

• Immediate start.
• Full time position available - includes weekends and shift work - penalty rates will apply if working weekends & outside of normal hours
• Location: Cairns Airport

What you will be required to do:

• Driving and working airside and in the shed at Cairns Airport sorting freight, collecting freight from aircraft - (this is not baggage handling)
• Loading and unloading freighters as part of a team.
• Delivery driving animals and urgent freight in the Cairns and North Qld area as required.

To be successful in the role you must:

• Forklift ticket and driver's licence
• Must undergo a drug and alcohol test and security background checks for an Aviation ASIC Pass
• Be a Permanent Resident as this is a Permanent position

Base hour rate offered with penalty rates and overtime rates available.
