About the role

As a Storeman/Delivery Driver at York Glass, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our end products reach our clients in a timely manor in the region. This full-time position offers a competitive salary and the opportunity to work for a reputable local company with a strong focus on customer service.

What you'll be doing

  • Safely perform pick ups and Drop offs to our clientele.
  • Assist Load and unload delivery vehicles, taking care to avoid any damage to the products
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including documenting any special instructions or issues
  • Provide excellent customer service, liaising with clients and responding to any queries or concerns
  • Adhere to all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations
  • Support the wider operations team as needed with workshop fabrication and site installs as required

What we're looking for

  • A valid MR license for min of 2 years
  • Experience in the Glass and Aluminium Industry would be an advantage
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to effectively communicate with clients
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records
  • Physical fitness and the capability to lift and manoeuvre products where required
  • A commitment to safety and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks
  • Flexibility to work a range of hours as required
