The Inventory Planner is responsible for managing the supply planning of Medical Consumables and US Lumify accessories to meet business targets. This role oversees stock movements, inventory integrity, and processes within third-party logistics providers (3PLs). The planner ensures inventory levels support customer demand while maintaining accuracy and compliance across all planning activities.

Key Areas of Responsibility

Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP)

  • Own and manage the end-to-end S&OP process.

  • Lead monthly S&OP supply review meetings, defining and reviewing mid- and long-term supply plans in collaboration with Leadership and Business teams.

  • Prepare and distribute meeting decks and actionable outputs for HPM, AMD, EC consumables, and US Lumify & accessories.

Inventory & Supply Management

  • Manage phase-in and phase-out execution from planning and inventory perspectives.

  • Support cross-functional teams to ensure product availability and operational visibility.

  • Conduct weekly reconciliation of SAP vs WMS inventory to maintain inventory accuracy.

  • Implement and enforce robust inventory controls.

  • Maintain SAP data accuracy, including GR on time, stock transfers, and WIP inventory reviews.

  • Manage expiry and shelf-life data in SAP, collaborating with global teams.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with BU Managers, Product Managers, Finance, Sales, and supply chain teams to process Medical Consumables requests efficiently and accurately.

Inventory Analysis & Planning

  • Perform monthly ABC analysis to categorize inventory.

  • Plan inventory based on historical consumption, sales forecasts, and ABC categories.

  • Maintain process documentation for ABC categories and drive continuous process improvements.

Warehouse & Inventory Management

  • Oversee cycle counts, stock analysis, and SAP-WMS reconciliations.

  • Conduct stock takes, reconcile discrepancies, and finalize adjustments.

  • Manage buybacks, rebalancing, and returns to factories.

  • Drive supply chain improvements focused on inventory optimization.

  • Manage ship-hold procedures for hazardous parts.

  • Ensure quarterly provisions and weekly reviews of aged inventory.

  • Inventory availability

  • Inventory as a percentage of material sales

  • Excess and aging stock levels

  • Expiry management effectiveness

  • SAP vs WMS variance accuracy

  • SAP master data accuracy

Education & Experience

  • Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.

  • Proven experience in supply chain planning or materials management.

  • APICS CPIM certification preferred but not mandatory.

  • Intermediate proficiency in SAP.

  • Strong analytical skills with intermediate to advanced MS Office (Excel) capabilities.

  • Fluent in English (verbal and written).

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company's facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company's main facilities, generally at the customers' or suppliers' locations.
