THE OPPORTUNITY

We are currently seeking a Store Person/Tool Crib Worker to join our team in a casual role. This behind-the-scenes position plays a crucial part in keeping our sites running smoothly by managing tools, PPE, consumables, and ensuring our crew has the equipment needed to get the job done safely and efficiently. If you enjoy staying organised, have an eye for detail, and take pride in structure, this is the opportunity for you.


QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

  • White Card (mandatory)
  • Basic tool safety awareness (training can be provided)
  • Ability to recognise expired test & tag labels
  • Forklift licence – desirable but not essential
  • Previous experience in a warehouse, tool crib, or similar environment highly regarded

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

The main responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Issuing and collecting tools, PPE, and consumables
  • Tracking equipment using the Panda Asset system
  • Checking tools for damage, expiry tags, and overall condition
  • Maintaining a tidy and well-stocked tool crib
  • Reporting faults or low stock to supervisors
  • Ensuring only authorised staff access high-risk equipment
  • Assisting with deliveries and following site entry protocols

  • Highly organised and detail-focused, with the ability to keep things in order
  • Comfortable using tablets or digital checklists
  • Reliable, consistent, and committed to following through
  • Safety-conscious with knowledge of PPE, test/tag, and site rules
  • Strong communicator, with the ability to enforce access restrictions when required
