What You'll Be Doing
This role ensures a safe, hygienic environment at Blacktown and Mount Druitt hospitals while providing strong supervision and support to general services staff

  • Maintain high standards of hygiene and safety
  • Supervise and guide frontline services staff
  • Support quality service delivery for all users
  • Foster a safe environment for patients and staff
  • Promote excellence in hospital general services

Selection Criteria

  • Demonstrated experience in the operations and supervision of staff within a large and complex healthcare organisation or similar environment
  • Ability to lead, review and implement changes in work practices to ensure that standards, policies and procedures are met
  • Demonstrated understanding and application of Work Health Safety issues including the ability to apply risk management processes
  • Demonstrated high level ability to plan, organise and lead a cohesive and effective work team
  • Highly developed computer skills and competent in the use of Microsoft office programs, electronic payroll and relevant intranet applications.
  • Commitment to provide continuous improvement, outstanding customer service and a positive workplace culture.
  • High level interpersonal skills including sound oral and written communication ability
