We are seeking an experienced and passionate Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Jimboomba Vet Surgery.

You will play a critical role in providing compassionate care for our patients and exceptional service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Veterinarians during consultations, surgical procedures, and diagnostic imaging.
  • Administer medication, place IV catheters, etc.
  • Perform patient triage, take vital signs, and record medical history.
  • Monitor patients during anesthesia and recovery.
  • Assist with inventory management and maintaining the cleanliness of the clinic.
  • Provide clear communication with clients, colleagues, and referring Veterinarians.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience working in a Veterinary clinic or hospital would be favourable.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in animal handling, restraint, and nursing techniques.
  • Proficient in using veterinary software and clinic equipment.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Genuine passion for animal welfare and a commitment to delivering exceptional care.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
