Dedicated Caregivers Needed for the Holiday Season – Make a Real Difference

Do you have a passion for helping people and a desire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the ageing community and people living with a disability? Are you looking for immediate work with flexible hours, especially over the Christmas and New Year period? If so, you might be the perfect fit for Nurse Next Door

We provide flexible and affordable care options, promoting positive experiences by assisting clients to remain independent in their homes and communities.

Must have: Guaranteed availability to work across the Christmas and New Year season.

While this initial focus is on the holiday period, there may be opportunities to continue with ongoing employment after the holiday season for high-performing team members.

Your Role and Duties

As a valued caregiver, you will provide care specific to the client's care plan and provide essential support, including:

  • Personal Care and assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
  • Meal preparation and light housekeeping.
  • Provide meaningful companionship.
  • Meet the safety needs of the client and use equipment safely and properly.
  • Function within the limits of your own experience and knowledge, while practising safely and competently.
  • Build great, trusting relationships with our clients
Essential Requirements
  • Guaranteed availability to work across the Christmas and New Year season.
  • Flexibility to work early mornings, late evenings, and weekends.
  • Current driver's license and reliable vehicle.
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check (or willing to obtain prior to commencing).
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (or willing to obtain prior to commencing).
