About the role

CMV Group has an exciting opportunity for a proactive, detail-oriented Senior Payroll Administrator to join our payroll team on a full time basis. Become part of our professional and friendly team based in our new head office situated in Wayville, SA.

Key responsibilities

  • Co-manage end to end fortnightly payroll processing across both salaried and award staff
  • Ensure compliance with Awards, superannuation, taxation and statutory requirements
  • Support month end and year end payroll processes, including journal entry preparation and account reconciliations.
  • Provide advice, guidance and support to managers and team members on payroll related queries Construct reports and provide payroll insights for managers
  • Contribute to payroll system upgrades, testing and process improvement projects
  • Assist in the development of user instructions and documentation

Skill & Experience

  • 5+ years payroll end to end processing experience, including time and attendance
  • Strong knowledge of payroll legislation and understanding of modern awards
  • Sound Excel and payroll system skills, (Dayforce highly regarded)
  • Attention to detail, strong organisation skills and ability to meet strict deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to build relationships across all levels.
