About the role:
The Pharmacy Intern position is a 12-month training position in which a Pharmacy graduate from either the Bachelor or Masters course (or equivalent qualification) gains the necessary skills and experience to satisfy the requirements for registration as a pharmacist in Australia.
As the Intern Pharmacist, you will be responsible for:
- Provision of a clinical pharmacy service in accordance with the SHPA Standards of Practice for Clinical Pharmacy Services.
- Participate in Ward rounds with clinical pharmacists, undertaking medication reconciliation on admission and transfers of care.
- Attending orientation, training and staff meetings as required

About You
Our ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Successful attainment of an Australian recognised Bachelor of Pharmacy or Master of Pharmacy Degree.
- Excellent knowledge of pharmacology and the ability to apply this knowledge to practical situations.
- Ability to work effectively as an individual or as a member of a team.
