How will your ideas contribute to shaping what's next?
As a Transmission Lines Lead in Aurecon you'll be a vital part of the Power Transmission & Distribution team in Western Australia who are working to ensure client wind projects are delivered with confidence and the commitment of the Aurecon team.

Your Role Will Include

• Lead and grow the transmission lines capability within the Power, Transmission & Distribution team in Western Australia, delivering high-quality design and consulting services.
• Oversee the technical delivery of overhead and underground transmission line projects from concept through to construction support.
• Build and mentor a high-performing team of engineers and designers, fostering a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and innovation.
• Develop strong client relationships, identify new business opportunities, and support strategic pursuits to expand the transmission portfolio.
• Ensure project delivery aligns with best practice, safety standards, and relevant codes (AS/NZS, IEC, IEEE) and client requirements such as such as transmission specifications.
• Stay at the forefront of industry developments, new technologies, and design innovations to position the team, while driving continuous improvement initiatives as a leader in the transmission sector.

To apply you will have experience as a transmission line design at a senior level, and will specifically bring:

• Extensive experience in the design, construction, and commissioning of high-voltage transmission line projects, both overhead and underground.
• Proven track record in leading multidisciplinary design teams to ensure high-quality project delivery on time and within budget.
• Strong technical expertise in transmission line design, including route selection, structure design, conductor sizing, and electrical clearances.
• Experience in client-facing roles, including developing relationships, managing expectations, and identifying business opportunities to expand the transmission lines portfolio.
