About the Role

As a Data Architect, you'll lead the design of scalable, secure, and future-proof data solutions across cloud, hybrid, and on-prem environments. You'll work closely with stakeholders, enterprise architects, project teams, and delivery partners to:

  • Design and implement enterprise-level data architecture for analytics, BI, and reporting platforms.
  • Build conceptual, logical, and physical data models (Data Vault 2.0, Kimball, etc.).
  • Architect robust data pipelines and transformation solutions across GCP, Azure, or AWS.
  • Develop strategic data roadmaps and contribute to enterprise architecture blueprints.
  • Lead solutioning efforts across data lake, warehousing, microservices, and cloud-native platforms.
  • Drive data governance, data quality, and integration best practices.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior business and technology leaders.


What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
  • 8+ years in data architecture roles in medium to large organisations
  • Proven experience designing cloud-native solutions (GCP, AWS, or Azure)
  • Deep understanding of data modeling (Data Vault 2.0, Kimball), ETL tools, and modern data stacks
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of BigQuery, Databricks, Airflow, Informatica, Spark, and NoSQL/RDBMS technologies
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, consulting, and solution design skills
  • Knowledge of architectural frameworks (e.g., TOGAF preferred)


Nice to Have

  • GCP / Azure / AWS certifications
  • TOGAF certification
  • Retail or logistics domain experience
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum project environments
