Network Engineer with NV1

The Role

Key Responsibilities:
  • Change Management, including the preparation and implementation of Changes on a number of Gateway
  • Device configurations - routers, firewalls, proxy's DNS servers and load Balancers
  • Incident Resolution -assist customers to troubleshoot/diagnose un-intended network traffic issues
  • Monitor and action Health Alerts generated
  • Performing a Service Desk type function, consisting of the allocation and prioritization of tickets based on SLA
  • Managing internal and external communications
  • Responding to customer requests via email/phone calls
Skills & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology
  • 3 years of experience as Network Engineer/Infrastructure/ Network operations roles
  • Experience working with Linux, DNS, Firewalls, F5, VMware, Proxies and Email Gateway appliances
  • NV1 Security clearance or Baseline Security Clearance
  • Willingness to work on 24x 7 rotating shift schedule
