Dynamic Hydro Excavations is a leading provider of non-destructive digging and vacuum excavation services, proudly servicing projects across QLD and NSW. With a growing fleet and a reputation for reliability, we're looking for an experienced Fleet Controller to join our busy Penrith office.

About the Role

We're on the lookout for a confident, organised, and proactive Fleet Controller to manage daily scheduling and dispatch of our trucks and operators across various civil and infrastructure projects. This is a fast-paced role suited to someone who thrives under pressure and has a solid understanding of fleet and logistics operations in the civil or construction sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Daily scheduling and dispatch of vac trucks, water carts, sweepers, and operators
  • Liaising with clients, site supervisors, and field staff to ensure on-time service delivery
  • Monitoring live jobs and fleet availability
  • Coordinating maintenance, breakdown response, and service bookings
  • Ensuring compliance with fatigue, safety, and operational procedures
  • Accurate data entry, reporting, and record keeping
  • Supporting the operations team with planning and resource allocation
  • Experience using "Assignar" scheduling software is advantageous

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in a similar role within civil, construction, or transport industries
  • Strong communication and coordination skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise in a fast-moving environment
  • Knowledge of compliance requirements (CoR, fatigue, maintenance schedules)
  • Confident with scheduling systems and Microsoft Office
  • A team player with a positive, solutions-focused attitude
