xAmplify is building strength and capability to meet the growing demand from our clients and as such we're expanding our Google Cloud services. Delivered within our Technology Services capability, this team is all about AI, Automation and Cyber Security Services.

In these diverse roles you will be involved in delivering:

Design and Implementation

Design and deploy secure, robust, and cost-effective cloud infrastructure and applications on GCP using services such as Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, BigQuery, and Cloud Functions

Infrastructure as Code

Develop and maintain infrastructure using tools like Terraform or Cloud Deployment Manager for automated provisioning and management

Networking and Security

Implement and manage GCP networking components (VPC, load balancing, firewall rules, VPN) and ensure adherence to security best practices (IAM, organization policies, security audits)

Integration and Delivery

Implement and manage Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using Cloud Build or similar tools to automate software deployment

Optimisation

Manage resource usage, optimize cloud spending, and improve system performance and reliability

Collaboration

Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to understand requirements and implement effective cloud solutions

Incident Problem Resolution

Diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure and application issues within the GCP environment

ENGAGEMENT TYPE

We're seeking individuals who are aligned to our journey and are keen to grow your career with us, so at this stage we are just seeking those open to full time permanent opportunities. Contract may considered for the right candidate.

KEY ELIGIBILITY
xAmplify partners with a diverse client base, including Federal Government, Defence, Enterprise, State Government, and Private Sector. As a result, our candidates for these roles
must be Australian Citizens with an NV1 or higher clearance or the ability to obtain one
. Unfortunately, those with PR (and other work right visa's), are not eligible to apply for the security clearances required for these roles.

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
At xAmplify, we look for individuals who thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments and bring a passion for technology, problem-solving, teamwork and collaboration. At interview we'll be going deep on your both your technical skills, consulting and client engagement activities and most importantly your fit within our team, therefore we're looking for you to showcase and highlight to us the following skills and experience.

It's hard to beat time on the tools, so to be considered for these roles, we are looking for candidates with demonstrated experience in your chosen field. As these roles will operate within a high expectation, high delivery environment we're seeking individuals with 5+ years experience.

As we're growing in the Google space,
Google Cloud Certifications are a must
, but if you're currently working towards obtaining these, then connect and let us know

In addition to this, we're also looking for:

• Experience with migrating on-premises workloads to GCP

• Knowledge of networking concepts (VPC, load balancing, firewall rules) and cloud security principles

• Experience with Big Data or Machine Learning services on GCP (e.g. BigQuery, Dataflow, AI Platform)

• Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies

LOCATION
We're flexible If you're in Canberra, Sydney or Brisbane you'll have the ability to connect with us in person (whilst also getting the balance to work from home and connect with some of our clients in person), but we are also open to candidates in locations across Australia who can work AEST business hours. Please note these roles will require regular attendance to client site, therefore close proximity to a capital city will be key due to client locations.
