The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to play a key role in delivering one of the Gold Coast's most significant luxury high-rise developments. You'll be responsible for driving all engineering functions, coordinating key stakeholders, and ensuring technical excellence across all stages — from design and procurement through to final delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee project engineering and technical delivery on a landmark high-rise development
  • Collaborate closely with the Project Manager and Site Manager on program, cost, and quality outcomes
  • Manage subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers to achieve project milestones
  • Provide practical engineering solutions across structures, services, and finishes
  • Ensure strict compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a high-performing project team

About You

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline
  • Proven experience as a Project Engineer / Senior Project Engineer on large-scale projects ($100M+)
  • Strong background in luxury residential and high-rise construction
  • Technical expertise across structures, building services, and high-end finishes
  • Excellent stakeholder management and problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about delivering world-class outcomes

Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum 5+ years of on-site experience in a similar commercial or residential role
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting drawings and specifications
  • Solid computer literacy, including construction management software
  • Adaptable with a positive attitude toward challenges and change
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
