Located in the picturesque Meander Valley against the stunning backdrop of Quamby Bluff is Brockton Dairy in Montana, Tasmania. We are seeking farming all-rounders keen to build on foundations in dairy farm operation to add value to and work alongside our small, motivated and engaged team.

A third-generation family farm, Brockton milks 900 cows on 250ha (200ha under pivot irrigation) through a well maintained modern 50 Unit Rotary.

The role embodies the following key criteria:

  • Previous experience milking in a Rotary Dairy Operation
  • Basic skills in Calf rearing and management
  • A genuine interest in and motivation for a career in agriculture/dairy industry
  • Enthusiasm and a solid work ethic as key personal qualities
  • Demonstrated competence in safe machinery operations
  • Demonstrated ability and familiarity with all farm tasks
  • Ability and willingness to undertake stockwork all year around
