Position Summary:

Keyts Facility Services are seeking two reliable and dedicated part-time Cleaning Employees to join our team at Birkdale Fair Shopping Centre. The successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the shopping centre, ensuring a pleasant and safe environment for shoppers and staff.

The hours of work (to be shared between 2 positions) are:

Monday - Sunday

(7 days)

8.30pm to 11pm.

Due to the late evening working hours, applicants must be 18 years of age or older.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and waste disposal.
  • Clean and sanitise restrooms, food courts, common areas, and other designated spaces.
  • Ensure high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the shopping centre.
  • Clean the centre to the client specifications as provided.
  • Operate cleaning equipment and use cleaning chemicals safely and effectively.
  • Report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor.
  • Follow all safety protocols and company procedures.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a cleaning role is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Ability to use the Linksafe Compliance system as per the centre's requirements.
  • Must sign in and out using the Connecteam app, with GPS coordinates enabled to confirm attendance.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleaning standards.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends as required.
  • Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Australian work rights are required for this position.
