As Supplier Relationship & Risk Specialist based in Sydney , you will report to the Supplier Relationship & Risk Manager and work closely with various teams and leadership across the Asia Pacific region, making your mark in a number of ways:

  • Delivery of the APJ Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) Program, ensuring its continued alignment with SC&P and AirTrunk's key internal stakeholder objectives
  • Delivery of AirTrunk's Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) Program which aims to proactively identify and mitigate risks across the SC&P lifecycle. Key sub-programs include supplier qualification/onboarding for all new potential suppliers, and continuous monitoring of AirTrunk's critical supply chains
  • Work closely with strategic suppliers to identify and deliver on improvement opportunities

Your Day to Day

  • Facilitate Supplier Business Reviews (SBR) in line with the SBR schedule
  • Prepare SBR presentations and lead pre-SBR internal/external alignment meetings
  • Conduct regular meetings with strategic suppliers to ensure the on-time delivery of SBR action items. These can include improvement opportunities and/or remediation of recurring issues
  • Support the continuous improvement of the SRM Program framework and maintain its alignment with broader company objectives
  • Maintain SRM Program systems/tools including central repository of SRM Program docs and SBR data (includes SharePoint, supplier and AirTrunk performance dashboards, SBR presentations, action items register)
  • Support the scaling of the SRM Program to include additional procurement categories
  • Partner with Procurement to ensure key supplier performance and risk data is used to influence category strategies and sourcing decisions
  • Partner with other internal stakeholder teams to leverage the SRM Program as a vehicle to drive key initiatives
  • Oversee and maintain AirTrunk's supplier qualification and requalification process. Ensure all new and existing suppliers are appropriately screened and monitored
  • Be the key point of contact (POC) for our third-party partners who provide the systems and tools supporting the SCRM Program
  • Support the mapping of AirTrunk's critical supply chains for strategic suppliers
  • Conduct assessments on incoming supply chain risks and provide recommendations where appropriate. Consult internal risk subject matter experts (SMEs) where needed
  • Participate in regular internal risk SME stakeholder meetings as part of the SCRM Program
  • Work with internal Business Intelligence specialists to introduce and optimise reporting of SRM & SCRM program updates/outputs to all levels within the organisation
  • Identify and deliver stratergies to automate processes and improve efficiency within SRM & SCRM programs
  • Gather, analyse, and interpret complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights to drive continuous improvement of SRM & SCRM Programs

Requirements

  • Degree required – Business, Commerce, Engineering, or another relevant field
  • 3-6 years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, or position(s) requiring external stakeholder relationship management
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to utilize commercial acumen to assess and provide recommendations on supplier risks
  • Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
  • Ability to analyse data trends and identify actionable insights
  • Experience using PowerBi, Jira, MS Office suite preferable
  • Proactive nature, curious mind, and ability to build strong relationships at all levels
