Overview
The Client Governance & Integrity Analyst is responsible for managing member-impacting risk events and ensuring control adherence aligns with guidelines and fund expectations. The role involves daily engagement with funds on risk event governance, including preparing documentation (CRENs, SICs), providing regular updates on risk event progress, and overseeing controls such as CPS230 compliance.
In addition to managing risk event activities, the analyst will identify control framework weaknesses and gaps in preventative actions that lead to repeat risk events, providing recommendations for process improvements.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Focus
- Manage the end-to-end risk event process, ensuring timely resolution within agreed SLAs.
- Understand MUFG's client contractual obligations related to risk event management and handle key exceptions.
- Deliver insights and learning to support enhanced controls and reduce future risk events.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to embed best practices across the business.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with customer-focused solutions.
Operational Management
- Monitor risk event progress and reporting, escalating stalled cases to client partnership teams.
- Ensure all activities focus on closing and minimizing risk events.
- Maintain compliance with processes, controls, and quality standards.
- Communicate regularly with clients and stakeholders.
- Support delivery of strategic operational projects.
Governance & Risk
- Promote a culture of risk awareness and proactive issue identification.
- Adhere to MUFG information security policies and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure appropriate controls are in place to meet compliance frameworks.
People Leadership
- Model customer-first behavior and embed this attitude within the team.
- Identify and implement process improvements.
- Contribute to team development through active participation in meetings and forums.
