About us

We are a busy and dynamic criminal defence firm located in Morwell and representing clients throughout Victoria. We regularly appear in all Victorian criminal jurisdictions and within Koori Courts. We carry a high indictable crime file load.The majority of our clients are First Nations people and we have a particular focus on representing our clients in a culturally appropriate manner. We are passionate and dedicated defence lawyers.

Salary negotiable commensurate with experience. Whilst candidates with criminal law experience are preferred, graduates with a passion for criminal defence are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications & experience

  • Current Victorian Practicing Certificate or eligibility to obtain one
  • Minimum 12 months experience in practicing criminal law preferred although Graduate lawyers will be considered and are also encouraged to apply
  • Current driver's license
  • Experience in advocating for First Nations people an advantage

Tasks & responsibilities

  • In Court advocacy
  • Client and file management
  • Managing electronic files
  • Liaising with key stakeholders
  • Travelling to metropolitan and regional courts
