Tax Accountant
with strong experience in
Australian corporate tax, GST, and other direct taxes
to support compliance, reporting, and process improvement initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working across the full spectrum of tax responsibilities in a collaborative environment.

The Responsibilities
Reporting into a Tax Manager, your key responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

  • Prepare
    corporate income tax
    and
    fringe benefits tax (FBT)
    returns.
  • Review and submit
    monthly BAS
    .
  • Produce monthly reporting outputs for Finance.
  • Stay updated with
    changes in tax legislation
    and advise management on impacts.
  • Complete
    annual deferred tax reporting
    .
  • Review
    payroll tax obligations
    .
  • Implement
    process improvements
    and
    automated tax compliance solutions
    .
  • Provide
    ad hoc tax advice
    .
  • Liaise with
    external auditors and tax authorities
    to manage audits and resolve any tax-related issues.

About You

  • Strong experience in
    Australian tax compliance
    , including
    corporate tax, GST, FBT, payroll tax, and other direct taxes
    .
  • Comfortable working in a
    fast-paced, dynamic finance environment
    .
  • Experienced in
    process improvements and automation initiatives
    .
  • Strong communication skills, able to collaborate with internal teams and external advisors.

The successful applicant will have
You will have some exposure in a Tax Accountant role, possessing 1-4 years experience.
