About The Opportunity:

Collaborative with our Kalgoorlie team and overlook the repair and maintenance of power, lighting, and dewatering equipment. This position welcomes applicants based in Kalgoorlie or interested in an 8:6 FIFO roster from Perth, WA.

  • Install, maintain and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
  • Read technical diagrams and schematics.
  • Perform general electrical maintenance.
  • Inspect transformers and circuit breakers and other electrical components.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate of testing devices.
  • Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures.

About You:

  • Based in Kalgoorlie or available for FIFO 8:6 roster
  • Prior experience working with pumps and generators
  • Prior exposure within the renewable energy industry
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Physically able to lift & move items
  • Communication skills (written/interpersonal)
  • Ability to read and understand schematic drawings
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Ability to follow instructions when given.

Requirements:

  • Electrical Trade certificate
  • Grade A State Electrical Licence.
  • A minimum of 2 years post trade experience
  • Low Voltage Rescue (LVR) Training within 12 months of conclusion date
  • Cardiopulmonary Perform Resuscitation (CPR) Training within 12 months of conclusion date
  • Deep electrical system, power generation, blueprints and maintenance and repair knowledge
  • Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines to meet AS 3000.
  • Current and valid WA manual driver's license.
  • Senior First Aid Training.
  • Experience to work at heights and confined spaces.
