Looking for a practical, long-term career in the engineering trade? Beasleys is now hiring a First Year Apprentice in Bundaberg, QLD.

As part of our growing team, you'll get hands-on training while completing your Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology. You'll learn from experienced technicians, develop mechanical skills, and work on real hydraulic systems used in mining, agriculture, industrial machinery, and more.

Your Tasks

  • Assist senior hydraulic technicians in installing, maintaining, and repairing hydraulic systems and equipment.
  • Learn to read hydraulic schematics and technical manuals.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and diagnosing hydraulic system issues.
  • Assemble and disassemble hydraulic components.
  • Gain proficiency in using hydraulic tools and testing equipment.
  • Attend training programs and courses to enhance hydraulic knowledge and skills.

About You

  • Minimum Year 10 High School Certificate
  • Demonstrated high levels of initiative and self-motivation
  • Strong interest in hydraulics and a desire to pursue a career in the field.
  • Good mathematical and mechanical skills and an enjoyment for technical work
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication skills and customer centric mind-set
  • A positive, can-do attitude and a genuine desire to learn and develop.
