Who is Tabor: We are a Private Higher Education Provider, providing tertiary education with a Christian perspective within a more personal learning community. We are not only passionate about our students' academic growth but also their personal and spiritual growth. Our Faculties include Ministry Practice, Humanities and Social Sciences and Education. At Tabor we focus on the community professions, offering undergraduate and postgraduate degrees and courses that equip teachers, counsellors, youth workers, pastors and ministry workers, musicians and creative writers.
At Tabor we are unashamedly Christian and strive to be personal and user-friendly in our engagement with students and stakeholders. All that we are and do is infused by a Christian ethos that recognises spiritual formation as essential to flourishing in life and work.
The College was founded in 1979 and has grown to a dynamic and vibrant education centre located in Adelaide and Online with approximately 700 students. The Millswood campus is only five minutes south of the city, in a beautiful setting with plenty of free parking and access via public transport.
About the Role
Tabor is recruiting for a 0.6FTE Stakeholder Engagement Officer (SEO)
The Stakeholder Engagement Officer plays a crucial role in building and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders, promoting Tabor's offerings, and providing administration support for these activities. The SEO is instrumental in the coordination and implementation of Tabor's Stakeholder Engagement initiatives, including the Schools' Engagement and Professional Development Programs, to achieve Tabor College's broader goals of growth and community impact.
Stakeholders include, but are not limited to, potential and existing students, college alumni, external primary and secondary schools and internal members of our staff. Our Stakeholders are also community members already working in the fields of Counselling, Teaching or Ministry that may wish to join us for Professional Development events or further study.
The role will be situated at the Millswood campus and will work closely with the various Faculties and Tabor departments. The successful applicant will need to develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, to promote Tabor's services, gather market insights, and strengthen partnerships. They will collaborate with the Manager of Partnerships and Projects to plan and execute targeted communications, including personalised outreach and electronic direct mail campaigns.
