Your new role:
We are seeking a Senior Psychologist to join the Pathways Support team, delivering high-quality psychological services for patients with complex presentations and long-stay discharge barriers. This role provides a unique opportunity to combine clinical care, multidisciplinary collaboration, and service improvement across multiple Metro South Health facilities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide evidence-based assessment, intervention, and behavioural support for complex inpatients.
- Act as a clinical liaison to interprofessional teams on long-stay discharge planning.
- Support service development, quality improvement, and clinical education initiatives.
About you:
We're looking for a skilled and compassionate Psychologist with advanced clinical expertise and a collaborative mindset.
You will bring:
- Strong experience in delivering complex psychological assessments, interventions, and discharge planning.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills across multidisciplinary teams.
- A commitment to supervision, mentoring, and service improvement in complex care pathways.
