Dry Fire Technician

About the Role 

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our fire business for an Electrical Fire Technician to join our services team based out of our Sydney office. You will be working with our major clients on a diverse range of sites such as schools, hospitals, aged care facilities, commercial buildings and residential apartments. This role will involve working at various client sites across the Sydney region to deliver high-quality service including:

• Inspect, test, maintain, and install a wide range of fire protection systems and equipment

What we are looking for

• Australian Permanent Resident or Australian Citizen

• Electrical Licence

• NSW Drivers Licence

• White Card

• Fire protection and technical background, or experience in security systems or BMS (Building Management Systems)

• Proactive approach with a strong focus on customer service

• Flexible to deliver and travel between Form1 sites as required

• As a condition of employment, you must undergo a working with children check, a police check and a pre-employment medical

Essential Criteria / Skills

• Extensive experience in the fire industry, including servicing and fault finding on fire systems and fire panels (addressable and conventional)

• Proficient in diagnostics, fault-finding and preventative maintenance

• Skilled in programming and configuring fire panels across various brands and systems

• Familiarity with AS 1851, with demonstrated experience working to Australian fire safety codes

• Experience across commercial and industrial properties
