We are seeking a skilled
Twilio Engineer
to design, implement, and support secure communication solutions within the healthcare sector. This role focuses on building and optimising patient engagement platforms, SMS and voice integrations, and appointment/notification systems using Twilio's suite of APIs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain Twilio-based communication workflows (SMS, voice, chat, video).
  • Integrate Twilio solutions with existing healthcare applications (e.g., patient portals, scheduling systems, EHR/EMR).
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare data privacy and security standards (HIPAA, Australian Privacy Act, etc.).
  • Monitor and optimise performance, reliability, and scalability of communication systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve patient and clinician communication experiences.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience with Twilio APIs and cloud communication platforms.
  • Strong programming skills (e.g., Python, , or Java).
  • Understanding of healthcare workflows and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience with system integrations (REST APIs, webhooks).
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
