FinXL is seeking a Cloud Solution Architect to join one of the Federal Government Agencies in Canberra. The Architects are responsible for the quality of solution architecture work across an organisation. you provide technical leadership in the design and implementation of systems and software to solve business problems

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience as an Cloud Solution Architect, delivering production capabilities as part of a multi-disciplinary team. You will play an important role with your expertise to designs, implements, and manages secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud-based systems to meet the organisation's objectives

Key Requirements:
  • Must have a strong understanding of architectural principles and patterns, with demonstrated practical experience in designing and delivering an on-premises to Cloud service migration strategy.
  • Ability to define a target technical end state roadmap focusing on rationalisation, consolidation, reduction in technical debt, and leveraging contemporary cloud-native solutions.
  • Experienced with Cloud architecture, specifically in the design and delivery of complex systems within an enterprise or Government environment.
  • Solid knowledge and practical experience contributing to the delivery of complex projects in a Government or large enterprise setting.
  • High-order communication, negotiation, and liaison skills with the ability to explain/translate complex findings to both business and technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in developing concise detailed system, data, user, and interaction diagrams and associated documentation.
  • Qualifications in an IT-related field coupled with appropriate Architecture and IT Cloud certifications.
  • Demonstrated flexibility and an outcomes-focussed mindset to deliver objectives within tight timeframes.
