Josh Neill Carpentry is a local family-owned business in Tamworth NSW. We specialize in Building Maintenance, Commercial Contracting, Assest Management and Renovations.

We are looking for a carpenter.

The successful candidate will be expected to;

  • Have their own vehicle.
  • Have their own tools.
  • Be well presented and punctual.
  • Maintain WH&S procedures and policies.
  • Provide excellent customer service and relationship building with our clients.
  • High attention to detail and willing to learn.
  • Quality workmanship.

Skills and professional attributes required:

  • WH&S induction card (white card).
  • Have a good skill set or are willing to gain experience in other trades i.e., plastering, tiling, painting, etc.
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Be self-motivated with a good work ethic.
  • Certificate III in Carpentry and Building.
  • Asbestos awareness training.

Candidates will be required to;

  • Complete various building maintenance jobs.
  • Have a good skill set or are willing to gain experience in other trades i.e., plastering, tiling, painting, etc.
  • Read and interpret plans and specifications.
  • Be a good mentor and share their knowledge and understanding of the trade with our apprentices.

An immediate start is available for the successful candidate.
